JOB DEMANDS:
The ability to communicate orally with customers, management, and co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential.
Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, copier/scanner. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools. Chat GPT would be a bonus.
Leading on account management and coordination with broader service and sales teams.
Good reasoning and math ability, as well as language skills, are required to solve a wide range of business problems. Must be able to understand and utilize management reports, memos and other documents to conduct business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An associate’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree in marketing / business is desired. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
Strong analytical, visualization and reporting skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Receives requests by telephone, or mail for price quotations/verifications, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly from customers. Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding product line, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financing arrangements.
Sends product literature, price catalogues, references, and other data to customers as required.
Prepares order configurations and price quotations and routes to customers; completes and reviews with Sales Manager prior to submission to agency; writes letters to provide information to customer inquiries as needed.
Works with the Credit Department to establish new accounts; assists customers in preparing and processing credit/financing arrangements paperwork.
Assists in handling the needs of Field Sales Representatives; works with Production to expedite or ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments; maintains close liaison with other departments to carry orders through to completion.
Submits sales activity and forecast reports to Sales Manager; provides briefings to Sales Manager as necessary or as requested.
Assist in managing paid listings on third-party websites and media partners; Regularly review and optimise all advertising campaigns for positive Return On Advertising Spend (ROAS)
Assist in developing and overseeing marketing automation strategy, setting up, managing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns (EDM newsletters, drip campaigns, loyalty campaigns, etc.)
Monitor social media sites to identify negative content and use technical skills to eliminate this content or make it appear lower in search results and promote content (news articles, blogs, Tweets, Facebook and Linked posts, etc.) that presents a positive image across the internet.
Improve how the business is viewed online by looking and analysing what a potential customer, might discover about the brand, or the product when they perform a Google search. Search engine management to counter negative search results.
Track and monitor brand-specific conversations and mentions on social media. Flag off and report perceived threats on social media to the larger social group and stay prepared with media statements.
Assist in handling what should go out in media about the company and how to handle negative publicity even on the review websites like Glassdoor, Yelp, Google Play, iTunes etc.
